2017 Meritage

Wonderful blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot make up this 2017 Meritage.  Aged 18 Months in 40% new French oak then bottle aged for 6 months prior to release.  This is the first time we have been able to use Cabernet Sauvignon as the base. 2017 was a very dry, warm year which allowed us to get extremely ripe fruit.  This brings wonderful structure and mouthfeel to this wine, complimented by the notes of cherry and pepper from the Cabernet Franc.  The richness of the Merlot rounds out the palate making this one of our best vintages yet.
