ARE WE ALLOWED TO BRING IN OUR OWN ALCOHOL?
All wine consumed at your event must be purchased from Wisdom Oak Winery. No outside wine is allowed on the premises. If you would like to serve other alcoholic beverages, you will either need to consult your caterer or obtain a banquet license from the Virginia ABC.
IS THERE A DISCOUNT IF WE PURCHASE WINES FROM WISDOM OAK WINERY?
Yes, Wisdom Oak wines will be sold at a discount for your event.
HOW LONG CAN MY EVENT LAST?
Maximum duration for any event is 5 hours. Event start times may vary but must end no later than 11:00pm. All outside music must end by 10:30pm as per county guidelines. All persons in attendance are expected to depart Wisdom Oak Winery by 11:00pm.
DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT TO SECURE THE DATE?
Yes. We require a 50% deposit to reserve the winery for a specific date. If cancelled within 90 days of event date, 10% of the deposit will be returned.
DO YOU REQUIRE A SECURITY DEPOSIT?
Yes. We require a $500 security deposit. This is to cover potential damage by your guests and will be refunded within 10 business days following the event.
WILL I HAVE TO SIGN A CONTRACT?
Yes, we will require a signed contract to secure a specific date.
WHAT ARE ACCOMMODATIONS FOR PARKING?
All guests should park in the customer lot. Wisdom Oak Winery will provide direction for parking at larger events.
DO YOU ALLOW PETS?
Yes! We are pet friendly and welcome pets that are on leash, well behaved and under control in our outdoor areas.
DO I NEED TO RENT PORTABLE BATHROOMS?
Yes, for any event over 50 guests, portable bathrooms will be rented for use during your event.
ARE WE ALLOWED TO DECORATE THE SPACE?
Yes! We welcome decorations including flowers, candles, lighting, etc. Candles must be in containers or on a stand to prevent fire or damage.
