2016 Orange Petit Manseng
As part of our Single Barrel Series wine experiments, this Petit Manseng is called "Orange" because it is a white grape that was treated like a red wine in the winery. This means full skin contact during fermentation resulting in extracted tannin, color (orange) and intense aromas. Barrel aged in neutral oak for 20 months prior to bottling. The wine is meant to be served slightly below room temperature, much like a red wine. Notes of orange peel and white pepper are evident. (21 Cases Produced)
